AMICE III/P: CIM-OSA Releases

Objective

The objective of AMICE III/P is to demonstrate the value to business of CIM-OSA through pre-pilot implementations of enterprise model engineering and model-based manufacturing operation control and monitoring. The work is based on the first release of CIM-OSA specifications developed during the previous AMICE projects (688, 2422, 5288) and made public in 1992.

The project aims to:

- demonstrate CIM-OSA enterprise model engineering, including model optimisation through simulation, and to show the business advantages of CIM-OSA modelling compared to other modelling methods
- demonstrate CIM-OSA enterprise model execution for operation control and monitoring through the implementation of the CIM-OSA integrating infrastructure
- demonstrate CIM-OSA's ability to co-exist with inherited systems during operation control and monitoring
- consolidate the CIM-OSA specification and publish a new technical baseline.

Programme(s)
