Use of chrome ores in AOD converter for stainless steel production

Obiettivo

The aim of this research is to set up a stainless steel-making method using chromium ore additions in either an electric arc furnace or in an AOD vessel. Although such techniques have been studied already in Japan, it is necessary for this technology to be pursued further in the Community.
