Ziel

The aim of the research is to develop a computer-based system to undertake systematic validation and intelligent analysis of the data from a process control computer on an electric arc furnace. The knowledge generated by the system would be used as the basis for the development of expert systems to provide guidance and advice in furnace operation. The work will be undertaken in collaboration with United Engineering Steels, Temple borough Works and BSC Cleydesdale Works.
