Obiettivo

This research project is intended to develop new procedures for producing ferro-alloy sample beads for X-ray fluorescent analysis from aqueous solution as an alternative to classic solid chemistry techniques of bead preparation. Application of this technique to high and low carbon ferrochrome has provided encouraging results and may take over from current time consuming and skill dependent wet chemical techniques and solid oxidation techniques based on platinum with their associated drawbacks.
