Obiettivo The aim of the research project is to carry out fatigue tests on a number of geometrically optimised cast-steel K-nodes with high yield strength in artificial seawater under variable amplitude loading. The results obtained will be transferred to other type of nodes and loading conditions by means of component modelling and finite element calculations.
