Obiettivo
In order that modern structural steels can be safely used in strategic application it is essential to understand better the factors that control the fracture behaviour of welds. In this research, the fracture properties of the parent plate and HAZ will be assessed for two quenched and tempered micro-alloyed high strength steels.
This work will be undertaken in close collaboration with projects P2336, P2346 and P2435 contained in this programme.
