Obiettivo

This project aims to set up a continuous electrolytic pickling line for various steels including ferritic, austenitic and possibly duplex. This line will be ecologically acceptable based on an alternative system based on the dissolution rate of Cr-depleted alloy using the potentio-static electrochemical control of steel dissolution. This process will be set up using simpler pickling solutions than in conventional HNO3/HF baths. This will lower costs, reduce environmental impact by reducing toxic NOX emissions, and improve efficiency.
