TRuStEE will be involved in scientific initiatives organized to bring science to a large audience. The beneficiaries will take part to science open science initiative presenting appealing new technologies such as drones, laser scanning, thermal images are appealing for people at all age. The coordinator (UNIMIB) has been part of the organization of the European Night of Researchers in Milano since 2013, and since then has also participated to the Wired Next Fest organized by WIRED in Milano. The other participants have been involved in different science social events through their institutions, e.g. the European Night of Researchers (CSIC, MPG), ‘science in the square’ (UNEXE). Furthermore, Media (local TV and/or radio, newspaper) will be involved during the summer school, particularly during the field campaign, in order to show data acquisition with innovative instrumentation. Finally, ESR will be asked to prepare a final presentation in the form of a TED conference, that will be uploaded in the dissemination section on the TRuStEE website.
Presentations at National Meetings by the network membersPresentation at technical workshop and international conference are foreseen during the all lifetime of the project by the ESR and by the beneficiary members.
Project newsletter sent every two monthsA Project newsletter will be sent every two months, updating on dissemination and outreach activities planned
Advertising for ESR recruitmentThe supervisory board will coordinate the strategy for the recruitment. The advertisements of the available positions will be sent to most important academic, research centres institution as well as published on ITN webpage, MSCA website and web page of the host institutions, the EURAXESS Job Portal, the European Network of Mobility Centres and advertisements at scientific meetings.
PhD title awardAll the ESRs recruited will award a PhD title within the project lifetime.

Procedure for the in-flight definition of the flight plan for multi-rotor UAVThe UAV sistem is ready (platform, payload and acquisistion protocol): the light-weighted hyperspectral instrument is mounted on the platform, the procedure for the in-flight definition of the flight plan is operational and the standardized protocol for data acquisition is defined. The first data are collected on field.

Open source software for decoupling low and fast dynamics of data time seriesDevelopment of time series analysis methodology in an open source environment to decompose time series of hyperspectral data or vegetation indices at daily, seasonal and, if possible interannual time scale.
Open source softwares for the extraction of EFPs from FLUXNET dataOpen source software to derive physiological parameters and ecosystem functional properties such as light use efficiency, water use efficiency from eddy covariance flux data. The development will be focused on the FLUXNET sites with open policy.
Software tool for processing UAV and airborne imagesData from the UAV spectrometer will be used to adapt the spectral fitting method to retievel sun-induced fluorescence from the UAV borne hyperspectral data (D1.7). These data will be related to established ground based data and the accuracy of this new measurement mode will be quantified.

They will be published under GNU licence.
Open source softwares for the retrieval of PTs and EFPs from multi-satellite and hyperspectral dataDevelopment of a open source code for the prediction of plant traits and ecosystem functional properties related to the photosynthetic processes from multisource near-surface remote sensing data.
TRuSTee website will be designed and made. A downloaded area for the partner will be designed including an intranet area for sharing data among the partnership and an open area for public deliverables and for data exploitation. The website will be linked to the webGIS.
WebGIS design and implementationField data and remotely sensed data collected during the field experiments planned in the summer schools will be stored and managed in a prototype WebGIS. The production of the WebGIS will allow to collect and share data among the network. The webGIS is also intended to show how remotely sensed data products (PT, EFP and EBV maps) may be easily exploited by end users through of simple technologies.
