The S.D.S. (Strength Distribution System) project consists of the creation of an innovative system for the construction of hulls for recreational and work boats. The S.D.S. will be revolutionary because it does not act on materials but the shape, thus making it possible to make lighter structures without using raw materials or particularly expensive construction processes. As a result we will be able to build lighter boats which consume and pollute less and that have a greater load capacity. Although specifically designed for use with electrical or hybrid propulsion, boats made with the S.D.S. can also be used with traditional engines.
SAM sas is a small artisanal company and so will need to find externally the economic resources to continue with this project, which could completely change the future of SAM sas and its “stakeholders”. The work program topic to which our proposal relates is the “Work Program-Smart Green and Integrated Transport, point 4 Waterborne”, given that the Strength Distribution System allows considerable improvement in the characteristics of a means of transport, which a boat is.
The aim of this feasibility study is to evaluate, on the basis of the market research carried out, of technical trials and of our first-hand experience, whether this project is possible and economically viable.
