Opening International Seminar/ minutes of project management meeting

to officially kick off of the project with all partners present. consolidate the finance, exchange and secondments. consolidate the objectives and aims

Project website set up

Project website set-up and webmaster will be appointed. Quarterly updates will be carried out with the latest professional development of staff from each group and success of promotions, research highlights.

1st workshop on CVD diamond growth

1st workshop on CVD diamond growth, led by Aston University with Zhejiang University of Technology as the co-organiser. Workshop proceedings will be published in special issue of a journal in diamond field.

3rd workshop on surface modification

3rd workshop on surface modification will be led by University of Leicester. This will include the lab tours and access to a variety of equipment in University of Leicester.

4th workshop on optical characterisation

4th workshop on optical characterisation will be led by CIT, Ireland. This will include the training using FTIR, Raman, etc, among all young researchers.

2nd workshop on Nanoimprint Lithography

2nd workshop on Nanoimprint Lithography will be hosted by ICN2 in Spain. This will include the lab tours and training to young researchers from this consortium.

5th workshop on meta-materials

5th workshop on meta-materials will be led by University of Birmingham. This will include the visit to state-of-the-arts meta Laboratory and training on a variety of spectroscopies.
