Periodic Reporting for period 1 - FAST TestOM (FAST and accurate Testing of Organic Materials)

This project has reached the objectives of the design and developing of a novel equipment for testing a key parameter of an organic semiconductor (namely, its energy bandgap) in a simple, cheap fashion and in real operative conditions. The quantitative knowledge of this parameter would help in the design of both new materials and devices for the opto-electronics industry. Along the project we have reached a first prototype version of the equipment, ready for its testing and we have established successful initial contacts with industrial and academic partners. We have also explored possible commercialization routes, which might be consolidated in a time scale beyond this current project.
