Distributed development

THEDIS has developed a commercial tool for the object oriented modelling of distributed real time systems. The system consists of 4 models, 3 design models using the Rumbaugh method, and an additional implementation model. The development tools also include 3 graphics editors for the supported diagrams, browsers to gain an overall view of the modelled system, a scanner to read in requirement specifications, specification generators and an ODBC database link to save the project data in a consistent manner. The systems described by use of the tool can then be simulated using the Petri-net simulator PACE.
