3MWth CLC-CCS system prototype testing (si apre in una nuova finestra)

The deliverable includes eight parts: a) Validation and verification at TRL5, b) Validation and verification at TRL6, c) Demonstration of system prototype in operational environment, TRL7 (Figure 1.4 in Annex 1-Part B), d) Test campaigns for oxygen carriers, and impacts on cost, reactivity, attrition, lifetime and fluidisation, e) Test campaigns for air reactor and fuel reactor technology, and impacts of oxygen polishing, f) Test campaigns with heat recovery steam generation and condenser, g) Testing with alternative fuels, h) Recommendations. Remark: Parts a-g will be led by TSINGHUA with assistance from the support group. The latter part (item h: Recommendations) will be led by SINTEF ER, with support from IFPEN, TSINGHUA, and TOTAL.

This deliverable is the final summary from Task 3.1, including results on the pre- and post-characterisation of OC samples from the demo unit.
