Future Superconducting Magnet Technology

Leistungen

Final Dissemination and Exploitation plan of FuSuMaTech Phase 1

A short report will summarize all the actions of FuSuMaTech Phase 1 in Public engagement, Dissemination and Communication activities

Report on state of the art superconducting magnets

The history of superconducting magnets merged with Kamerlingh Onnes in 1911 but the major developments started only in the sixties, strongly pushed by High Energy Physics. The report will focus on the up to date technology and the frontier R&D developments. A synthesis of the expert views on the most critical aspects will be presented in order to select the more suitable R&D actions and technology pilots to be launched within FuSuMaTech.

Synthesis and orientation report for development of technology and industrial applications (Month 18)

The report will analyze the overall process of the Work Package 5 of FuSuMaTech Phase 1 “Setting up technology Pilots” and give a feedback on the methodology. The report will contribute to foster innovation in the domain by setting up new situations for synergy between Academic Research and Industry

Final FuSuMaTech Phase 1 Workshop

The report will consist in the collection of the presentations of the final Workshop together with the minutes of the conclusion session.

Concept and methodology of the FusuMaTech Phase 1

The report will present the basic idea of FuSuMaTech and the working method developed to have Industry and Academic partners working together on specific R&D programs and on the development of technology pilots. Prospective views on FuSuMaTech Phase 2 in the context of innovation in Europe will be developed in the report.

Initial Dissemination and Exploitation plan of FuSuMaTech Phase 1

A short report will define and give the schedule of all the actions of FuSuMaTech Phase 1 in Public engagement, Dissemination and Communication activities

Public Project Website and visual identity

A dedicated project website will be created hosted by one of the main academic partners. It will be accessible for all partners with the all the public information available. A visual identity will be developed for FuSuMaTech and a full screen collection of the logos of the partners will be used in all the presentations and documents.

Proof-of-Concept funding proposal for new application domains

All the partners, in particular through the CERN Knowledge Transfer (KT) unit, will prepare a proof-of-concept funding mechanism for innovative projects related to superconducting magnet technologies in different application domains (e.g. medical imaging MRI, NMR, and energy applications…). This proof of concept will be documented in the report.
