Seemore’s intention is to build a product in cooperation with helmet manufacturers that will bring augmented reality (AR) to the motorcycle world. The Seemore component should not be seen only as a fancy toy to be played with, but rather a platform that can be used by motorcyclists to solve their problems, and at the same time keep, if not increase, safety of the ride.
Safety of the ride is of utmost importance for Seemore. There are few factors that play role here.
First, the Seemore component is installed inside helmets and as such requires certification along with the helmet itself.
The component is installed at the factory, during assembly of the helmet, which eliminates risks related to invalid installation, which in turn might degrade safety.
The use of HUD decreases reaction times of motorcyclists during ride. There is no need to look at motorcycle's speedometer, for example, or at navigation application on phone attached to the motorcycle – all that information is presented by the Seemore component.
Features extending motorcyclist awareness also increase safety by warning the biker of other vehicles present in the blind spots.
All this is just the beginning of what could be implemented to make the ride safer.
Introduction of the solution on the motorcycle market creates a great opportunity for Seemore on other markets. During the works on the component we've started business talks with a company based in Poland
offering sapper and professional diver services like clearing waterways and other areas from old bombs and other dangerous objects. HUD and AR can be used to increase visibility and orientation of a sapper in the field,
where precision and very important.
Other potential uses of this technology are in the building construction, geodesy, security, military, etc.
