AutonoMous self powered miniAturized iNtelligent sensor for environmental sensing anD asset tracking in smArt IoT environments

Project description

Autonomous smart sensing cards for electronic smart systems

With electronic smart systems playing an increasing role in households, businesses and industries, many now seek to further develop and involve smart system technologies across several sectors. Sensor technology can benefit a vast number of sectors if more are researched. Unfortunately, little research has focused on developing better sensor technology. The EU-funded AMANDA project aims to change this by stretching the limits, autonomy and capability for miniaturisation of electronic smart systems, to develop a novel cost-attractive new generation of autonomous smart sensing cards. This technology could be utilised by many sectors and strengthen the technological excellence of AMANDA partners by introducing certain useful mechanisms.
