Un sistema intelligente per evitare incidenti automobilistici
In tutto il mondo, sono circa 1,3 milioni le persone che ogni anno perdono la vita a causa di incidenti stradali. A questa cifra si aggiungo inoltre dai 20 ai 50 milioni di persone che subiscono lesioni non mortali, di cui molte comportano una disabilità dovuta all’infortunio. In questo contesto, il progetto System EYE, finanziato dall’UE, propone un sistema IoT intelligente per evitare le collisioni. Il sistema raccoglie e analizza i dati, utilizzando le informazioni allo scopo di avvertire proprietari e altri conducenti nel dominio quando la probabilità di un incidente nelle vicinanze è elevata. L’obiettivo della prima fase del progetto è condurre uno studio di fattibilità per la commercializzazione della tecnologia di System EYE che comprenderà un’analisi accurata dei mercati di destinazione.

Every year 1.25 million people die in car accidents, and so car accident prevention market is forecasted to reach $50 bn in 2021. To deal with this challenge and utilize market opportunity Discoperi has designed System EYE — the first on the market smart IoT system capable of preventing possible collisions. System EYE collects the data, analyzes it and alarms the owner and other drivers in the domain when the probability of an accident nearby is high.
At the same time, current way of handling automotive data does not allow the drives to benefit from automotive data continuously generated by all modern vehicles. In 2018 industry players only start tapping into car data monetization potential forecasted to reach $450 - 750 bn by 2030, and System EYE is the first solution to allow storing and monetizing collected automotive data on behalf of a driver on the blockchain, using DISC tokens.
Discoperi aims at fast global commercialization of System EYE to bring its value worldwide leading automotive revolution. In Discoperi vision, automotive ecosystem participants own, share and transact data in a fair and transparent way. To make this happen, Discoperi expanded its team by top-notch professionals in AI, blockchain, business, marketing and operations with experience from: Hyperloop, Ericsson, McKinsey, Distrokid, etc.
In 2017 Discoperi was recognized as top-50 global most innovative startups, top-10 the best hardware startups in Ukraine, top-15 the best startups in Spain.
Objective of the Phase 1 project of SME Instrument is to develop an elaborate feasibility study for System EYE commercialization that would include: a thorough analysis of target markets, unique value proposition and entry strategy validation, regulatory requirements analysis, business model validation and business plan elaboration.
