Upon successful completion of this project, Climate Recovery can make European buildings more sustainable, environmentally friendly and user friendly regarding the HVAC solutions. It is something that the EU attempts to achieve through the EU Circular Economy Strategy and the nearly zero-energy building concept. In this respect, CR has introduced a program to utilize waste material in the current production standards to produce secondary applications in the form of glass wool panels for sound damping. This will be expanded to encompass the new types of mineral wool utilized in SAFEVENT production. Further, infrastructure and processes for handling scrap material from building sites utilizing CR glass wool products are being established for proper recycling and circularity applications.
Given the significant advantages offered by our underlying technology platform, successful market penetration is expected rapidly. Perceived commercial benefits will be used to stimulate the further expansion of our company and the pursuit of innovation activities.
The initial feedback from technical ventilation consultants and ventilation contractors has been very positive. For consultants, the benefits of a 2-in-1 product with a lower carbon footprint provide benefits such as shorter timelines for project completion and a building that can easier achieve the regulatory approvals required today and tomorrow. For ventilation contractors and installers, the decreased amount of weight by reducing sheet metal allows for a safer and healthier work environment.
Further benefits include those who own buildings, as well as those who live and work in them, achieving a more sustainable building while also possessing fire resistance properties for safety. An airtight system will make for the energy efficiency of the systems, positively impacting even the energy bill of tenants. Thermal comfort is gaining increasingly more importance, due to changes in our worldwide climate, and doing so at a low cost will be appreciated.
