Handling export, import and security constraints

Report evaluating how import export and security constraints eg ISPS can be handled to improve efficiency in the new transport systems the usecases and how these measures best can be implemented

Resilience in automated transport systems

Investigates and quantifies improvements of transport system resilience after the redesign of the logistics system has been made usecases The theory is that a system with more and smaller ships will provide a system with higher resilience against disruptions being it due to environmental issues worsening climate technical defects in a ship or terminal equipment or hostile physical or cyberattacks

Potential transfer from road transport to short-sea-shipping in Denmark

Report on the potential gross volume that can be shifted from road transport to shortseashipping in Denmark Includes analyses of the price structure for transportation of different types of goods by both road transport and shortsea shipping including an analysis of last mile final destination delivery

Technology gaps and regulatory challenges in Danish cases-studies

Documentation of technology gaps and regulatory challenges to improve efficiency in waterborne logistics based on the work with usecase C

Effects of standardized cargo units

To keep cargo handling equipment cost down it may also be necessary to reduce maximum total weight of each container and handle heavier cargo as special cargo The report will analyse possibilities for more use of standard cargo units eg standardize on 20 feet containers

Production of highquality graphical presentation material including logos illustration material graphical layout of documents and more The budget also includes resources for producing animations of one or more usecase concepts These as well as web pages will be developed by professional third parties but maintained by the partners Different means of communication will be used like the AEGIS webpage newsletters and presentations at conferences articles in newspapers and magazines and open stakeholder workshops
