Report on design of SPEN in each of the four climatic zones

Development of the plus energy neighbourhood design by applying the methods of Integrated Energy Design (IED) to develop an integrated design process at the neighbourhood scale. Create scenarios for current and future climates, as well as different scenarios for energy and power costs, operation and maintenance costs, future codes and regulations, user behaviour, etc. Performance prediction of the plus energy design using dynamic computer simulations: i. Indoor climate ii. Energy, iii. Power, iv. CO2 emissions. In this deliverable, we will analyse different scenarios with combinations of state-of-the-art materials, components, technologies and smart control systems with regards to the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Market analysis of each of the four demonstration cases
Barriers and opportunities of plus energy neighbourhoods of the national and local regulatory framework

A report on barriers and opportunities of plus energy neighbourhoods of the national and local regulatory framework.

Project Management & Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)

The Project Management Team will develop a comprehensive Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) in close collaboration with the Work Package Leaders. This will include a standard internal review process for all deliverables within the project to ensure that the standard of excellence for the syn.ikia project is maintained.
