Periodic Reporting for period 1 - Apollo (Apollo: developing a powerful and easy to use platform for choice model estimation and application with full user-customisation)

The APOLLO project provided follow-up funding for the further development of the Apollo software under a proof of concept grant, continuing the work from the ERC consolidator grant DECISIONS. A substantial step change was achieved in the capabilities of the Apollo software during the grant, including the incorporation of new model components, massive computational gains, as well as greater worldwide access to the software. Apollo is now one of the most widely used software packages for choice modelling worldwide, both in academia and in real-world application. In addition to the development of the software itself, the POC grant also facilitated developments for an interface with the commercial survey platform developed by the German company SurveyEngine.
