Most nutritional supplement products currently available in the market, are plant or milk-based, extracted and produced by means of artificial processes. The majority do not have optimal absorption properties, leading to low bioavailability and efficacy.
Zymtech has developed AMIZATE®, a unique product produced by means of a natural enzymatic process from salmon proteins. AMIZATE® is rapidly absorbed after ingestion and contains all amino acids, small bioactive peptides (no larger than 561 Dalton), vitamins and minerals.
AMIZATE® can be used to manufacture an extensive portfolio of natural nutritional supplements for a wide variety of end users and with different purposes: sports recovery, general wellness, healthy ageing and medical nutrition.

Zymtech has developed and patented AMIZATE® with a production capability of up to 18,000 kg/month. Zymtech is already commercializing an AMIZATE®-based product in Europe and the US under the brand name “Unbroken” for cross fitters and athletes’ recovery after training. AMIZATE® is also available to be commercialized as an ingredient for nutraceutical products through a network of manufacturers and distributors.
During the period covered by the Feasibility Study, we have established pre-commercial agreements with partners for the commercialization of AMIZATE® in the EU, US and Asia and performed a thorough analysis of the protein hydrolysates market. We also have engaged with highly recognised key opinion leaders to support the dissemination of our product.
