The Enterprise Europe Network Baden-Wuerttemberg - Targeting Innovation from Baden- Württemberg for Europe

Project description

Supporting innovative SMEs in Baden-Württemberg

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is a European network that identifies and supports SME beneficiaries of the EIC pilot in promoting cooperation, technology transfer and strategic partnerships. More specifically, it encourages SMEs, entrepreneurs and scientists with innovative ideas and potential for expansion on an international level by providing them with innovative management services and instruments that strengthen their management skills. The EU-funded BW-KAM 5 project will provide key account management (KAM) to innovative SMEs in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and support their introduction in the European markets. It will coordinate cooperation between SME owners, specialised trainers and investors to assist them in dealing with knowledge gaps or financial demands.

Objective

BW-KAM 5 will implement tested and tailored innovation management services and tools to enhance innovation management
capacities in Baden-Württemberg's (Germany) SMEs that have the potential to grow and internationalise. The services will be adapted to the needs of the SMEs and also market requirements in order to provide innovative products and services to Europe’s markets. Key Account Management will be provided to SME beneficiaries from the EIC pilot by identifying and matching SME owners with coaches and investors in order to bridge knowledge gaps or financial requirements. The region covered is Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany, which has been served by the Enterprise Europe Network Baden-Württemberg consortium for the last ten years.
