Obiettivo
OBJECTIVES
This project is prompted by the need to continuously adapt professional training to the needs of companies experiencing constant change. The partners are proposing the development of a measurement and monitoring instrument able to regularly evaluate changes in the field of technology, marketing, organisation and production and work, in the world-wide market and labour market, etc., to incorporate these trends into the professional training systems of the various Member States within a given time frame and translate them into new content or training methods. The metals sector has been chosen as the pilot sector for the creation of this method of control.
ACTIVITIES
A network of experts in the metals sector will be created to gather the information needed to develop this method of anticipating skills needs. By issuing questionnaires to companies and conducting numerous interviews, the partners will build up a picture of the relationships between changing economic and social trends and labour force needs and qualifications from an industrial and commercial point of view. On the basis of this material, the partnership will be helped by the network of experts and a network of vocational training and will implement a method for anticipating needs in terms of human resources in the pilot sector. This instrument will be tried out and evaluated before being finalised.

- Creation of a network of vocational training institutions and affected public bodies to disseminate the method.
