Un système de santé permettant des soins intégrés et coordonnés
Les maladies chroniques complexes (MCC) ont été une préoccupation centrale de nombreux systèmes de santé. Le projet MobilityPlus, financé par l’UE, représente l’avenir des soins de santé d’alimentation entérale. Il met au point une solution qui allège le fardeau des soins de santé et répond aux besoins alimentaires spécifiques des patients atteints de MCC. Le projet utilise la technologie sans fil, la miniaturisation, les nanocapteurs et la puissance de calcul pour permettre le développement d’un dispositif médical connecté pour les soins d’alimentation entérale. Celui-ci peut générer, collecter, analyser et transmettre des données. MobilityPlus sera la première et la seule solution à offrir des options avancées de contrôle de l’utilisation et une connectivité électronique, ce qui garantira une autosurveillance efficace, une meilleure qualité des soins et un meilleur diagnostic des effets secondaires.
Objectif
Mobility+ is the future of the enteral feeding healthcare. It is a solution that alleviates the burden on healthcare and addresses specific feeding needs of patients with Complex Chronic Conditions (CCCs). Mobility+ system will be enabled by major advances in wireless technology, miniaturisation, nano-sensors and computing power, enabling the development of a connected medical device for enteral feeding care that can generate, collect, analyse and transmit data. The data, along with the Mobility+ devices themselves, are creating the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) – a connected infrastructure of medical devices, software applications and health systems and services. This connectivity between Mobility+ sensors and devices will enable healthcare organisations to streamline their clinical operations and workflow management, and improve patient care, even from remote locations. It will disrupt existing business models of how enteral feed is sold and distributed. Due to elimination of hardware (external pump, batteries & other paraphernalia), simplicity of use, reduced maintenance and improved monitoring, Mobility+ will lower enteral feeding healthcare costs by up to 60%. It will provide significantly enhanced benefits to the user (patient) in terms of increased mobility and feeding efficiency - leading to radically improved quality of life. It will be the first and only solution that will provide enhanced usage control options and e-connectivity: enabling effective self-monitoring, better quality of care and improved diagnosis of side-effects. Mobility+ has already gained traction with target customers and end-users in US and Europe and Key Influencers.
