Obiettivo
- development of a knowledge base allowing automation and updating of part of the model-builders' expertise; - development of a user-friendly environment.
A product, AMIA, is available; a knowledge base allowing automation and updating of part of the model builders' expertise. It is currently used for energy demand and water demand forecasts. AMIA makes it possible to manipulate in a user friendly way very large simulation models. All the foreseen functionalities have not been included.
The expert system environment is based on the MEDEE series of models, and an object based representation has been used to structure the knowledge.
Technical Approach : - "expert system" environment around the MEDEE series of models; - "object-based" representation to structure the knowledge (EIFFEL). Expected impact : Field of application : forecasting long-term energy demand.
