The environmental engineering sector, and a fortiori training enterprises and organisations, find themselves faced with a rapid evolution of technology. The main goal of EUROCLIMAT is to create environmental engineering training modules based on the needs discovered in partner enterprises and in their occupational branches. Such modules will help update the skills of employees and young trainees to meet today's standards and new technologies.
This pilot project will take place in five phases. The first phase will be an exhaustive examination of the situation using a joint analysis chart, involving all the partners with training needs. An in-depth examination of the partners' areas of skills, covering human resources, educational tools and equipment and teaching materials, will also be carried out. The second phase will consist of dividing up the tasks and designing training modules for employees, trainees, trainers and guardians. The third phase will involve creating and testing educational tools with joint evaluation charts, and training trainers and guardians. The fourth phase will be the evaluation of the results of EUROCLIMAT and the making of any necessary adjustments. The fifth phase will consist of distribution of the obtained results through the occupational branch networks and via the Internet.
Impact
This pilot project will make European enterprises more competitive by improving the training of their labour force in a leading-edge, high-employment sector.
