Verwertbare Ergebnisse
CASCADE Project addresses the question of the facilities to be used in the field of ATM validation. The study aims at assessing the available facilities compliance with the ATM validation requirements. The identification of needs that are not met allows to provide recommendations to complete the set of facilities.
The outstanding results of the Project are listed below.
- Methodology for describing existing validation means, identifying and classifying needs for validation means, comparing the both categories
- Set of facilities (40) described through the following features :
Country, Company, Name, Address, Main characteristics, Category ( simulator, test bench...), Flexibility, Test objectives, Life cycle step (from requirements validation to certification), ATM part (first level of both functional and physical breakdown).
- Access(tm) database including the surveyed facilities and references of other facilities.
- Set of validation tools existing or under development.
- Set of needs for validation facilities
- Cross-Mapping Tool (CMT) and the related databases (needs and facilities)
- System level validation facilities currently missing
- Recommendations related to the organisation of validation, to the policy for resources, to the activities to be undertaken, to the standardisation and to an overall validation platform.
