Obiettivo The objective of the project is to provide a systematic, high level environment for Prolog program development. This will be achieved in two ways: by providing convenience features on top of the existing language, which can be compiled into standard Prolog by developing an intelligent inventory of Prolog programming techniques and templates, which will provide a comprehensive library for the programming beginner and the basis for a program development methodology. The extensions and methodology will be evaluated through prototype applications selected from diverse areas, such as CIM, medicine, agriculture, of interest to Central and and East European partners. INFORMATION DISSEMINATION ACTIVITIES AND EXPLOITATION The results will be incorporated in a software product marketed by a vendor partner, and used by commercial partners as an aid to increasing productivity and quality in software development.
