MARKSERV is a set of products and services to support the Geomarketing tasks, based on the most modern technology of Geographical Information System (GIS) accessible via Internet and by not specialized users. MARKSERV is the first �turnkey" solution that provides distributed Geomarketing services with easy access using the main Internet Browsers. MARKSERV was developed with market leader software packages (GIS, DBMS and Internet) and the most actual technology The key technical achievements made in developing the result are: - to integrate technologies (GIS, Internet and statistical packages) and marketing know-how. - to execute a desktop GIS application on Internet - to export geographical vectorial functions to the Internet client. - MARKSERV supports the tasks of departments such as Planning and Marketing for: - potential clients analysis - analysis of business areas - resources planning - commercial management - direct marketing, etc...
