DFILM is a "portal" for digital film, offering film databank services, film restoration, copyright information, educational services, digital cinema (Cybercinema), etc
DFILM will consist of a Front Office offering access to its services as a one-stop shop implemented at all partner sites, represented electronically through a Web site. A Back Office (at DFC EU) will handle databank transactions, security, and copyright remuneration, AV content files transfer, subcontracting, licensing, brokerage and secure payments. The Project Office is the bureau of the DFILM Association that will execute the day-to-day activities, supported by the partners and the members.
The commercial result of the DFILM project will be an association providing services for its members and the Web site users. The DFILM Association is an entity comprising partners and members. Several conventions will be organized, presenting knowledge and information from industry, science and arts institutions.
