Objective
The aim of GISEDI EUROPE is to demonstrate electronic applications and services for faster, more effective exchange of geographical data between suppliers and users. It will facilitate and improve access to geographical databases, and speed up the definition of new associated exchange market services to answer user needs. New dissemination networks will also optimize the localized data process, create original dissemination channels and facilitate data retrieval. A key factor in the success of the project will be efficient easy-to-use interfaces employing existing networks, standards interfaces, messages for geographical data and trade messages.
