EUROCIO is a seminar to be held in Brussels on the 29th and 30th November 2001. It will bring together the Chief information Officers of around 100 of the leading 500 European companies. The two-day programme will be a series of presentations and round-table meetings to analyse corporate information systems in Europe and related organisational, intellectual and strategic issues. The conference is being organised by the French association CIGREF (Club Informatique des Grandes Entreprises Françaises), with the help of corporate events agency Finaki and the backing of a number of key sponsors.
Topics: best practices for successful pan-European IS projects; optimised multinational and/or global IS organisation; global Network Telecom; managing personal skills and intellectual talents in European corporations; E-Commerce hype versus reality; moves towards a pan-European network of contacts for CIOs; marketplaces - first feedback.
