We have obtained further insight in the usefulness of murine OA models, but there is a need to improve characterization of murine instability OA model, including efficacy of TGFb inhibitors in osteophyte formation and cartilage pathology, to be able to exploit it for drug screening. Need to reduce the variability of instability induced OA pathology
