Obiettivo
The INTIK-NOW concerted action is a consensus building activity which aims at supporting European-wide telematics travel services based on intelligent ticketing, especially for multi-modal operational environments. The definition of intelligent ticketing refers to a ticket format that has data encoded on it, from which data can be transferred between travel principals and other service providers. Intelligent ticketing may be an encoded Automated Ticketing and boarding pass or an electronic ticket. The consensus building activity will raise awareness of intelligent ticketing through intensive exchange of experience and requirements from the leading European airlines and other transport operators. Extensive concertation meetings will be undertaken to reach the final goal of achieving consensus and commitment regarding the usage of multi-modal intelligent ticketing by all transport.
