Project description
Innovative technologies for future automotive and industrial powertrains
Low- and mid-voltage powertrain solutions are pivotal in the electrification of the small and lower medium segments of passenger cars, hybrid vehicles adopting a low voltage add-on electric propulsion, and the growing lightweight urban mobility sector. The EU-funded TELL project will develop new technologies and share expertise to increase the global efficiency in urban mobility and the driving cycles having a high number of stops and starts. It will increase the yield in the production of chips and at the inverter-level integration, explore the potentiality of wide-bandgap semiconductors at low voltage, develop two types of advanced super-compact powertrains, and introduce innovations in both powertrains.
