Council Recommendations on Open Network Provision to ISDN and PSDN
Two Council Recommendations of 5 June 1992 on the application of ONP to Integrated Services Digital Networks (ISDN) and to Public Switched Digital Services (PSDS) aim in particular at ensuring: - Availability of a minimum set of harmonized offerings in all Member States; - Publication of information for users; - Adoption of common indicators and measurement methods and the availability of statistical information; - Establishment of a common ordering procedure, one-stop ordering and one-stop billing procedures; - Transparency of tariffs, based on objective criteria and independent of the type of application.
