Codifying cosmetic products
The European Commission, DG III, has published an invitation to tender for a study involving the EU codification project for Community legislation on cosmetic products. The aims of the study will be to: - Verify the overall content of all the technical and scientific documents received within the framework of each procedure as it relates to a pre-established list; - Finalise these various documents in keeping with a precise order and ensuring, as far as possible, similar pagination in the French and English versions; - In certain categories of documents, pinpoint the titles of the headings, subtitles, tables, cross-references and any graphics and drawings, to ensure coherence between these two language versions and their compliance with a reference glossary; - Verify coherence between any numerical data and scientific data in both language versions; - Introduce the modifications in the documents described above in both language versions at short notice; - Report any incoherence between data appearing in both language versions.
