Installation of the first residential storage system of the Demo 6 of GRID4EU
The first residential storage system of the project NICE GRID (the Demo 6 of GRID4EU) has been installed in the premises of an individual client in Carros. This system relies on the use of a Li-Ion SAFT 4 kW/4 kWh battery and an inverter/charger. Remotely steered by the project projet NICE GRID, this type of battery will enable to store the surplus of photovoltaic production generated during sunny days and to release it during peak times. Around 20 similar batteries should be installed during the coming months in the solar districts of NICE GRID. These areas are characterized by a high rate of photovoltaic production.
