European Parliament: amendments to Commission proposals
Minutes of the 10-14 December 1990 sittings of the European Parliament, made available with the April 1991 distribution of OJ No C 19, contain amendments to Commission proposals for: Decisions adopting RTD programmes in the fields of life sciences and technologies for developing countries, biomedicine and health, information technology, and communication technologies; a Decision concerning the establishment of a network of high-speed trains; a Recommendation on the introduction of Digital European Cordless Telecommunications (DECT); Directives on designated frequency bands for DECT and on the approximation of the laws of Member States on telecommunications terminal equipment; Regulations on actions relating to nature conservation (ACNAT) and to environmental protection in the Mediterranean region (MEDSPA). Included also are Resolutions on draft Notices from the Commission to Member States laying down guidelines concerning the TELEMATIQUE and PRISMA programmes and on the Pan European Conference on the protection of forests.
