The European Commission, DG XII, has published the proceedings of the Second European Conference on Underwater Acoustics, which took place at the Technical University of Denmark on 4-8 July 1994. The conference was organized in the framework of the specific programme for marine sciences and technology under the Third Framework Programme (MAST II).

The proceedings include papers on the exploitation of acoustics for thermometry of the oceans and for studies of the influence of ice cover on underwater sound propagation in the Arctic regions. Other topics include:
