Council Resolution: Community programme of action on road safety
A Council Resolution of 12 June 1991 on a Community programme of action on road safety, with regard to the European Parliament's resolution of 13 March 1984 on the introduction of a programme of Community measures to promote road safety (OJ No C 104 of 16.4.1984) and the Council Resolution of 19 December 1984 relating in particular to 1986 as Road Safety Year in the Community (OJ No C 341 of 21.12.1984) reaffirms the importance of improving transport safety and requests the Commission to draw up and implement a programme of measures to put into effect new common initiatives and compare existing national experience in the campaign against road accidents, and to form a high-level working party of representatives of the Governments of the Member States to define the objectives of this programme, undertaking a cost-benefit analysis of the measures to be included.
