Amendments by Parliament to Council common positions on RTD programmes
On 10 July 1991, at second readings under the cooperation procedure, the European Parliament reached Decisions, in four cases, on common positions established by the Council concerning specific RTD programmes in the fields of: Biomedicine and health (Commission proposal COM(90) 162); non-nuclear energies (COM(90) 164); industrial and material technologies (COM(90) 156); agriculture and agro-industry, including fisheries (COM(90) 161). Texts of these Decisions, setting out the amendments made by the Parliament, are now available in the Minutes of the sitting as published in the Official Journal of 16 September 1991. Final Decisions on the four programmes concerned were adopted by the Council on 9 September 1991.
