RTD in Agriculture, Agro-industry and fisheries
The Commission calls for proposals for the specific programme of research, technology development and demonstration in the field of agriculture and agro-industry, including fisheries. Consortia of eligible organizations (each project must include at least two independent contractors in two different Member States) are invited to submit proposals for the following areas: (I) Primary production in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture; (II) Inputs to agriculture, horticulture, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture; (III) Processing of biological raw materials from agriculture, horticulture, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture; (IV) End use and products; and Non-food Demonstration Projects. These areas and the types of projects to be undertaken are described in detail in the background material available on written request from the Commission services. The estimated amount reserved for this first call is ECU 138.6 million, including accompanying measures and programme management costs.
