Extension of TEMPUS pilot phase approved by European Parliament
The Commission's proposal to extend the pilot phase of the TEMPUS programme by one academic year, to 1 July 1994 ((COM(91) 555, submitted on 13 December 1991), was approved by the European Parliament on Friday 13 March 1992. TEMPUS aims to promote the development of higher education in central and eastern Europe by promoting exchange programmes.
