IMPACT information day

The Council of Ministers adopted, on 12 December 1991, the main phase of the programme for the establishment of an internal information services market (IMPACT 2, 1991-1995). Under the central strategic theme of INFO EURO ACCESS ("improving the accessibility of information at the European level for all interested parties") the Commission has now implemented the first annual work programme.
As a follow-up to the successful IMPACT Information Day of November 1991, the Commission is organising a further meeting on 22 January 1993 at the Jean Monnet building in Luxembourg.
The Information Day will be devoted in the main to presenting results of the projects already started in 1989-1990 under IMPACT I.
A key element in the IMPACT programme is the active participation of all the various market actors concerned. The Information Day is thus an ideal opportunity for those actors not only to inform themselves about results and ongoing activities but also to be able to help shape future activities.
Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English, French and German.
