INTERACT 3rd Industry Congress

DAIMLER, coordinator of the FP7 funded INTERACT project, will present the latest project outcomes at this congress. Industry pioneers will show how they use innovative methods in their production successfully. Learn how Volkswagen, Bosch Rexroth, Lapp, Rhenus Lub and many others find their path towards having Smart Factories. They will show how to increase the efficiency of factories.
The main idea behind the INTERACT project is to utilize workers’ expertise manual assembly tasks and include it in the digital tools used to support design, verification, validation, modification and continuous improvement of human-centred, flexible assembly workplaces. This kind of knowledge will be retrieved from workers’ actions using low-cost and non-intrusive sensor and tracking technology that can be applied during assembly process execution. It will be used for improving the precision and accuracy of digital human process simulation tools, thus achieving faster ramp-ups and first-time-right assembly processes.
