IQMULUS project at BiDS’16

The EU-funded IQMULUS project will be presenting and displaying posters at the 2016 edition of the Conference on Big Data from Space (BiDS’16) that will take place in Tenerife, Spain, from 15 to 17 March 2016.

The IQMULUS project aims to develop a platform that provides the needed functionalities to integrate the latest research results in data processing and visualization to tackle important real-life challenges in geospatial applications.

In particular, the themes of BiDS’16 this year, and of direct relevance for IQMULUS include:

- Data lifecycle
- Infrastructures and services for Big Data
- Big Data scenarios

BiDS’16, organised by the European Space Agency, welcomes all contributions on aspects related to data volume, velocity, variety, veracity and value. Big Data from Space refers to the massive spatio-temporal Earth and Space observation data collected by space-borne and ground based sensors.
