Daylighting workshop for architects and engineers, Lisbon

A workshop on the use of daylight in buildings will be held in Lisbon on 16-17 May 1994. It is organized with the support of the European Commission's THERMIE programme in the context of the OPET network (Organizations for the Promotion of Energy Technologies) to assist architects and engineers in the implementation of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly daylighting, heating and cooling strategies.
In this intensive, two-day workshop, European experts will describe the principles of daylighting, with examples from existing buildings, and demonstrate the use of various design and analytical tools, so that participants may use this approach in practice. The workshop will also include demonstrations of manual and computer-based design tools.
