'Green computing and communications', Besançon, France
Computers, communication systems and other information technology infrastructure have posed significant environmental challenges through their consumption of large amounts of electricity. This has increased greenhouse gas emissions, and caused pollution during their production and disposal.
To reduce these environmental problems and create a sustainable environment, new models, algorithms, methodologies, tools and systems are being developed in order to create generate green information and communications technology systems with high energy efficiency, low greenhouse gas omissions, less harmful materials and easy recycling.
The event will be a forum for scientists, engineers and researchers to discuss and exchange new ideas, novel results, work in progress and experiences on all aspects of green computing and communications, as well as to identify emerging research topics and define the future directions. For further information, please visit: http://greencom.univ-fcomte.fr/index.html
